This week’s update is a little different – it started out as a photo shoot for shibari master Silventar, who was working with the people at Lair de Sade to create a fundraising calendar. He and I had spoken before about working together, so this was the perfect opportunity.

I know that people see shibari photos but rarely see how it’s done unless they’re actually in a dungeon setting. Also, I’m asked fairly regularly as to how a shoot goes. So I asked Silventar if he would object to having CHSRegime-ites Jim and Mich do some additional stills and shoot a behind-the-scenes video of the calendar shoot. Hooray for us at PaddedKINK (and for you, dear members!), Silventar said yes – and so now you get to see a little of his work as well as a little of how a shoot goes. There’s even a (gasp!) segment of me without makeup (haha).

We took the time to interview Silventar and find out a little more about him and the project:

As many of you know, starting a new website has its many issues. To launch a site properly so it has enough content to please members, it’s a good idea to not launch until you have a nice handful of scenes. After all, you don’t want your initial members to pay the same amount and only see one scene! So with that in mind, we were able to license a few scenes from other producers so that there was enough content for members to enjoy.

We’re coming up on the last few updates from that initial licensing set. The great thing, and many of you have already commented on this, is that we’re starting to have some really amazing PaddedKINK exclusive content thanks to some models who have been just great to work with as well as the awesome video/photo team of CHSRegime, Jim and Mich. You’ve also seen us develop as a company, including our video and photo skills as well as tweaking our lit section – and starting this blog!

Over the next few months you’ll see more changes and even more exclusive content – we have a great set of videos coming up from Master Len, for example, for those of you that love extreme BDSM. But why are we also giggling in the videos? We’re a bunch of lunatic masochists over here, LOL.

We’re also making the shift to do more high-end content with new cameras and lighting so that the content you see is better and better each week – at least that’s our goal. And we welcome comments too! We had an early update that included music instead of dialogue, and we got a few negative comments about how it detracted from enjoying the scene. Since then we’ve kept the music to a minimum, and making sure that dialogue and subtle sounds are kept intact for you enjoyment.

I hope you continue to enjoy our fledgling site – and please post comments on the updates as you see them. Without them, we don’t get better!

As many of you know, April Flores is one of my nearest and dearest friends in the industry. I’ve worked with them on a few occasions on their projects, and when I started working on PaddedKINK, they were both so very supportive and excited for me.

April shared with me that she was interested in the BDSM lifestyle but was both a little nervous and intrigued by the scenes that happen in kink. We’d had a few conversations about bondage and how that works for me on both a physical and psychological level…so when she expressed to me that she would be interested in trying out a bondage scenario for PaddedKINK, I gave the idea a lot of thought. I definitely wanted to have April in front of our cameras – who doesn’t? – but I also didn’t want to have her in a situation that would completely turn her off of the idea in the future.

One of my favorite things about April is not only her sweet personality but also her infectious laughter. I decided that a tickle torture scene would be best to showcase both her figure as well as her giggle – and put it in a way that was slightly in the cult-film style, where she plays a rebellious student who is resistant to share where she got her test answers from with the headmistress…

We wanted to make sure that BBWSiren’s very first photo/video shoot was comfortable, sexy, and most of all fun! I think you can see how happy she was with the experience and how much fun she had getting her feet pampered…

Siren was a joy to work with – we can’t wait to work with her again here at PaddedKINK!

The nice thing about using models who blog about themselves online is that they also share their feelings on their experiences on a shoot. VixenBlu is this week’s featured model – a lovely plump leopardess who plays with Master’s toys while she is away. Although VixenBlu’s been photographed before, this was her first adult shoot. Here’s her feelings on the experience:

A solo petplay scene will be debuting tomorrow at PaddedKINK. Honestly, cant lie and say I’m not excited. I was thrilled to have the opportunity and it was a perfect way to slip out of default headspace, all the while creating some content for a site that is very much about variety overall within BDSM adult media.

The day was rainy,windy and cold from the mountainside in which I live. I cruised down the hill, on the way to Hollywood, dodging rocks and waterfalls of rainwater. I got there with 30 minutes to spare, even with the difficulty with the front gate.

Got to break in new makeup from Micabella, another mineral-based makeup brand. I feared the orange I had was too bright so I was prepared to mix the brown. When I had half my face on, Kelly (Shibari) discovered that the color was going to work great and would be vibrant enough for the cameras to pick up.

The suit really had an effect on all 3 of them. Kelly Shibari just about got a cavity looking at me with my little bell and dolled up with my muffs. We experimented with cuffs, using one on one arm and leaving the furry muff on the other. We laid out our props and cleaned up our shots. I put the vibrator into its charge station while we did the stills.

Everything seemed to come out well. I was a bit nervous since this was my first time having a video camera trained on me since helping with a documentary and random convention tomfoolery with friends. We had some other ideas and not all came to fruition but it ended up being perfect the way things were since it gave me the solo experience. Hopefully, we will do another shoot for the site, with another model next time. I love collaborating with other models.

So, for those that do go to the PaddedKINK this week, I really hope you guys can appreciate a good kitten play scene. Not sure if you will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed filming it. Kitties always make their own fun.
